A. A schedule of fees to be collected by the Sheriff for any license issued to any person, firm, association or corporation to carry on or conduct any trade, business or profession, as provided in this Chapter, is determined and fixed in Sections 19.08.110 through 19.08.400 of this Article.


B. Anything in Sections 19.08.110 through 19.08.400 of this Article notwithstanding, every person, firm, association or corporation engaged in the conducting, operating or maintaining of any business set forth, enumerated or designated within the foregoing schedule whose gross income derived therefrom does not exceed the sum of one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500.00) per quarter-year period shall pay a quarter-year license fee in an amount equal to eighty percent (80%), or four-fifths (4/5) of the license fee provided for the particular business, trade or profession within the schedule set out in Sections 19.08.110 through 19.08.400 of this Article.


C. Every person, firm, association or corporation engaged in conducting, operating or maintaining any other business of any nature or kind not provided for in this Chapter, or in any other ordinance or act, shall pay a quarter-year license fee of fifteen dollars ($15.00). Every person, firm, association or corporation either as manager, owner or lessee, conducting or exhibiting or presenting a circus, concert, menagerie, carnival or other athletic or theatrical exhibition, within the town shall pay a license fee of twenty dollars ($20.00) for each and every day's exhibition, presentation or performance, provided that no license shall be required when the same is sponsored by or for the benefit of a nonprofit, school or charitable organization.
