The government records and management act, as compiled by the state department of archives, is hereby adopted as an ordinance of the city. (Ord. 1-84, 4-21-1994, eff. 4-21-1994; amd. 2002 Code)

A. Availability: The records of the city shall be open to inspection by the public during regular business hours, except as is herein provided.

B. Copies; Fee: Any public record of the city may be copied or electronically reproduced for any member of the public on payment to the city recorder the sum of fifty cents ($0.50) for the first page copied and fifteen cents ($0.15) for each page copied thereafter, whether the copy is of the same or another document or page.

C. Elected Officials: Any elected official of the city shall at all times have the right to inspect the books, records and papers of the city. (1977 Code § 3-344)
